Expression

I’ve only ever seen the future in my dreams. Bits and pieces of miscellaneous truths that could easily be forget. That was until I looked into a vastness of blue and grey. And for the first time in my waking moments I saw the path laid out in front of me. Irregular puzzle pieces that shape something unique and precious. A fleeting feeling that can’t quite be capture. It’s palpable though, beating like a living being. Vibrating in the words and the silence. It’s a presence felt with the soul. A knowledge only known but not learned. A phenomenon, a break in the darkness. A shout within the silence. It’s a multitude of ever evolving feelings and notions that grow stronger and bolder. Breaking down what was once was to reforge it anew. To breathe it back to life with candor and complexity.

In my heart now slumbers a feeling beyond the words I could say. Beyond the things my mind could think. It goes passed the periphery of my reality ignoring all the rules along the way. To fully comprehend it you’d have to ask my heart but the language it is speaking is foreign to me. I am all too aware how that’s the same as saying nothing. But it’s like painting a masterpiece or creating a symphony each stroke, each note has to be perfect. The words chosen have to fit and to my knowledge I don’t have the right ones. But silence need not suffice. It’s a jolt in the brain, synapses awaking to a truth so simple it is beyond easy to miss. Recollection of feelings that weigh so heavy I forget to breath. Awestruck. Awestruck. Awestruck. I am awestruck by it all.

A universe unto to itself with all the complexities and confusion, the unknowns and truths waiting to be discovered. A vastness that is never ending. I rock back and forth through a fever and a spilt second of clarity that is beyond me. To see the universe at its core a chaotic tempest of contradictions a soft hardness forged through the years. A strength and a fragileness, a white hot flame and an ocean you’d most certainly drown in. A flourish of emotions that roll like waves. Painting the canvas of the world. Hues and colors that the eye and mind can barely comprehend. And yet there’s so much more isn’t there?

It seems so easy to say you’re stronger than you know. But the redundancy of the words create a echo so you can hear it again and again. You are stronger than you know. I could talk about your beauty, your wit? The subtleties that dance along the surface reveal you for who you are. The fact that you stand apart from other people in the most spectacular ways? Dazzling, that should come as no surprise. After all you’re a star destined for the sky. You’re the Scorpio and so much more. Shine brightly like I know you can. Shine brighter still.
