GLAD I’M YOURS! xx

George Thomas IVOR –
GTI, the standing joke!

What can I say about you?

That you’ve got the biggest feet
that I’m SURE you’re just about to grow into;

That a crowded room
stands still with expectation
when you enter;

that complete strangers think
you’re their best friend
when they meet you;

that the Dragon Lady
who ran your Nursery
had you mapped out
as a TV comedian
when she first say you waddle
up her path in nappies;

that you always have been,
and always will be,
everything you have a mind to be;

that you didn’t just “wake” me
when you were born,
but completely turned my life
upside down;

that I will never
cease to be amazed
by what you teach me
and how;

that you are completely gorgeous, George.

And I am so glad to be
YOUR Mum!

Happy 16th Birthday, Gorgeous Giorgio xx

(“Awww”, Mum!” Yes, I know… cringe, cringe!
You know you like it really… Mwah!! xx)

Kid-Kuddler, Karing, Kompassionate, Koo-Koo one-of-a-kind Kate!

I'm entirely collapsed... scrape-me-off-the-floor collapsed! As a "mum" meself (he's 31... egads!) I had that special X-ray vision reading this, reserved for mothers: I saw the words dance, I heard the poet sing, I watched that little fella up there light up the sky!

Your unabashed honesty is music, for he is, indeed, gorgeous! So are you, so are your words, so is my heart, having implanted this heart-warmer upon it. "you didn't just wake me" mingled with my own thoughts... are we not marvelous mothers? We are, certainly! Have we not beautiful sons? INdeed! And now, not for the first time, you have spoken for me, as well.

If, as they say, pregnant women glow... then I say, mothers like you light up the sky! This is beyond precious, as are you. katy xox

Aww Kate, did you knit that errr. hmmmm. (thinks) colourful jumper, poor poor lad, least it's big enough to last him a life time.

Memories of joy, that only a mother. A true mother treasures in her heart for ever.
Looks a tad like the kid who makes the wish in liar liar.
Nice one for Gregarious George.
