Lifted straight out of my folder, onto the page... Ah! Relief! Back to the heat and dust of Spain...

ANDALUSIAN SUNRISE

All is quiet,
except your voice
penetrating white space.

White light pierces my sight
like broken glass,
shattering memory
of time and place.

Like fallen snow
driven into pure folds
that drape my mind,
thoughts kiss this aura
and glow with
startling recollection.

Time is still,
everything is now,
and all is quiet –

except the always
of your voice.

This is beautiful. It reminds me of an experience I once had...one that transcended time and filled me with Sonlight.

Heresy, Traitor, going to Spain, call your self English. Next you'll be telling us your parents went holidaying in Germany in 1939 thru 45.
Bet you don't wear Support the troops. Where next Iraq. Dinner for two with Bin Laden. Save the Saddam?

Other than that the poem ain't bad, guess his voice is even there too.

It is said that in Andalusia a creative spiritual force called duende finds its way into the souls of certain poets and seeps exquisite beauty through their pens. Apparently you are one of those certain poets:-)

I may not be able to pronounce the title but I love the romance of the poem and the way you deliver it in such a fine fashion. Kate you are a lovely romantic of the old school. Sweet Kate I love your work.
