Like the dazzling stars
many light-years away,
oblivious of their effect,
you, in your ivory tower
tug my soft heartstrings!
I....
get on with life, my petty
existence ,nowhere.... in
your scheme of things.
I can live with all that.....
go through the motions
but what do I tell my
crazy heart and mind?
Every dawn heralds your
thought,nights too, heavy
with with your memories,
rooted deep within my soul.
Even your violin strings fill
me with envy, steel hearted,
highly strung, yet manage to
capture your rapt adulation.

as you seek stillness,serenity
in the soulful, stirring melodies
that you coax from your violin.
In another life time, another
earthly sojourn,we will surely
meet, as soul mates, be one!
Patiently, I wait for the grains
