Dream I have at the ocean

Poem Artwork

My arms extended to be lead

Come find me and take me from the water’s edge

Wailing loud over the crashing sea’s waves

Please rescue me from this life of dread

My eyes scanning the vast blue green water

Looking for the other brilliant colors

Majestic gold, red, and yellow from below

Signals she has heard my wailing calls

Coming to the water’s edge she takes my arms, as I am lead

Going to depths beyond those known to man

Placing her lips over mine so I breathe

And performs a perfect aquatic love ballet with me

Breathing passion and desire back into my veins

Building back my inner strengths

Finally returning to the water’s edge

Myself not just a man but King Tritan

A final kiss and soft touch majestically she swims off

Staring as those brilliant colors submerge

I place my lips on the water and leave these words to be heard

“Majestic Mermaid be my queen and let me serve as your king”

"Majestic Mermaid" is a touching inspiring sensual poetic composition.
It flows through the waves of the ocean of desires.

Keep posting, Poet.

I love both the appeal and the vivid imagery of each line.....this is a poem that is almost a plea.....one can only hope that the mermaid hears the plea and responds. I feel certain she will. Well done!!
