Poem Artwork

Oscar thinking he were dead
Silently walked off into oblivion
Confused and confronted by the day
And then the past, he gazed to the sky

Lord where do I sit and whom do I meet
Did I miss the Golden Gates before me?
For all that I’ve seen where the things
From my dreams on any given Sunday

So he walked on and on till the day was then done
But still no one was there to confront him
So he sat on a hill legend says he’s there still
Going over his life on and on then
