Photograph of barefoot spirit in skirt walking with Theresa Koch was taken on an investigation in a cemetery in Arizona. Photograph taken by her son James.
Earthly possessions kicked to the side
I am barefoot
Feeling the dirt against my sides
I am not confined
Though I am walking through the trees
I feel nothing
I remember more clearly then before
I am not home
I see a light but can’t find the door
I am lost here
Smells of earth and nothing more
I am weightless
Held by the chains that hold me here
I am waiting
I talk to others with no response
I am frustrated
I hear them saying I am deceased
I am lonely
Earthly possessions kicked to the side
I am barefoot
Powerful portrayal of a lonely soul. Well done, Theresa. Love and peace. Regis

Theresa, an impressive well-penned reminder of how difficult it is, and what it must be like for any lost soul that is trying to find its way, into the next dimension. You have a unique gift of blending the right photographs with your exceptional poetry. Excellent work. Thank you for sharing it. Take care and be well.
