Excerpt from The Psychic Soul by, Theresa Jodray. Photography Taken by, Theresa Jodray.
Coffee my tonic in hand, tongue in cheek
I set out into the frosty morning air
As the visions of the Alaskan landscape
Titillate my senses with a visual pleasure
Toddling along on the ice filled tundra
I hear my dogs in a tizzy in my truck
Thinking they've been left behind
Just looking for somewhere stable
That is to set my camera down before releasing
Then letting the happy beasts free to romp about
Throwing tantrums to say the least they do
As their howls of impatience carries out across the horizon
Stump of wood protrudes out of the snow
Looks like a fine end table for the moment
As I open the gates to set free my special hounds
Many smiles and barks of glee come from the tail waggers
Oh just a moment another day in the life
Of this freelance photographer of my own surroundings
A day in the life, so like the many, that choose to sit
With her dogs and coffee in the frozen tundra for a photo
