Standing majestic and awesome in appearance
Looking like the ancient pyramids of a distant time
Yet older then those made by the winds quiet whisper
To stand as a fortress to the mother earth
Mountain range standing tall in the distance
Reflecting the valleys below as though on guard
You echo through out my sight as I look upon you
The afternoon sun seems to bring out your beauty
Brilliant grandeur footstool perhaps to the Gods
Wise mounds of stone and dirt standing tall for eons
Watching man come and go through out his progressions
What knowledge you hold within as millenniums pass you by
How many rivers have washed your sides with their loving caress?
The sun seems to sweep over you with a scintillating hand
How beautiful this hour as off in the distance I watch your pose
Grand Mountain range standing majestic and awesome in appearance
Looking like the ancient pyramids of a distant time
Thank you for taking me for a breath taking trip back to the mountains as the fog floats on the lower levels and the sun brings warmth to the top levels of the range of mountains. Allowing for me to once again be in a vechicle that drives below the fog to only drive above it and then back below it again; watching the sun appear and disappear and feeling the vibrations of time and hearing the silence of life. Thank you is not enough but it will have to do.

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
Regardless of where you may be found in love this beautiful masterpiece can be
Long time no see... :)
This is absolutely
beautiful, both poem and photo...
