Oh I hear them
The spirits of the land
Sliding along side me
Guiding me through then
Shadows, they dance an ancient dance
Welcoming the stranger in
To put them in a trance
Laughter, rings atop the trees
Filled with joy and merriment
Your spirit to appease
Oh to see them
The spirits of the land
Floating across the horizon
Drifting through this land
Whimsical, in nature
Yet playful one and all
Drawing you in deeper
To hear their ancient call
Trust, in their whispers
Luring you to stay
Trying to entrap you
In the forest where they play
Oh to experience them
The spirits of the land
Hearing their voices
Carried in the wind
Twisted ancient dance
Making you want to sway
Trusting in their whispers
They’ve lured you here to stay
Just trying to entrap you
Within this forest home
Drawing you in deeper
To hear their ancient song
