A van came by with presents today
Just dropped them off then drove away
My foster mom said the presents were mine
I said its not right its not Christmas time
She said she had errands and people to meet
Then gave me the presents with a sandwich to eat
Alone in my room with no one around
I celebrate Christmas not making a sound.

Lived it, can clearly see the experience through the written words. I just emancipated out of the system last week. Thank God. Now maybe my life will begin.
