Floating listlessly waiting endlessly Lost since the day you cast me from my own life. I see you with her from time to time Swimming in my waters where for eternity I reside suspended in darkness. I watch and wait... Your day will come you'll drift too close brush against the bone fingers of my hand. Drag you down to where I lie Awareness sending a chill of fear skating down your spine before my unseeing eyes open to take you in. Cold embrace to keep you near as the last breath of air escapes in bubbles floating to the surface And here you'll stay beneath dark waters in this sodden grave in this stone castle that you gifted to me not so long ago.

Not only the water is deep here, Danielle.
Thank you for the great read...Bob
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
Thank you for the great read...Bob
