This is a picture of my beautiful cat Angel, and gloriously gorgeous rat named Gorgeous!!!

If the rat and the cat can do it Then why oh why can’t we? If two assumed enemies can come together Then what is it with humanity? When a simple cat can reduce his ego To live without separating fear When a courageous rat can overcome timidity To in fact, take over and steer Then why oh why do some humans create so much mess and strife? Why oh why do some humans dismiss the meaning of life? Soft and gentle is our true nature Gentleness is our gift Thank you to the cat and the rat For reminding us of this

How uncanny. I used to have a pet rat called Pee-Poo. And She would sometimes sit with our dog Bert' so I can relate here .well done again.

Amen to this- I used to say about some sicko "What an animal," but I know better now- animals are so far above humans, it isn't even funny, lol. Loved this.

Hi Suzie, your poem is absolutely meaningful. I was wondering if I could passs this poem to my daughter as we both hvae a cat and had a rat... may he rest in peace. While we had the rat both animals were as close as yours. It was amazing, also I found that by having the rat it made a lot of people happy. Anyway, I'll let you go for now please respond either way it would be greatly appreciated. Hope all is well with you, take care..
