A poem is beauty Poetry is a reprieve From executing life’s duties Taking time out to breathe To recoup your sanity Writing a rhyme surely does Elevates sensations Making life feel less tough Writing is golden An outlet less known Its healing prowess Is hidden, not shown If more and more people Knew the charm of its way An abundance of poets Would be coming out everyday
