'I stand straight and tall

I'm a red rose that can see it all

The goings-on surrounding me

This glorious garden astounds me'

 

'You look so fine and fancy'

Called the yellow pansies,

'Although we are beautiful to the eye

We barely reach the sky'

 

'Despite our shape or size'

Red rose wisely advises,

'We're all here for a purpose

And, our true beauty is under the surface'

Not to my eye. When I see a flower, I wait for the aroma and then look at the flower in all its glory, petal to petal. Everly flaw part of its beauty. Lovely all.
