could you touch the moon?
without my weight around you
anchoring your heart

could you breathe the night?
without lips smothering yours
do I steal your voice

could you roam heaven?
with angels on your wingtips
if freed you to soar

could you kiss me once?
before wind beneath your wings
leaves me far behind
