Dedicated to sailors everywhere but especially to our Canadian navy, coast guard and patrol ships. Sailors give up so much of their homes and families to do what needs to be done...Bravo Zulu to them all.

Astern looking home

The sea beckons one more time

Salty breeze and tears

 

 

Divided lifetimes

Duty calls always seaward

Dominant mistress

 

 

Bury me at sea

In the bosom of the deeps

A fitting tribute…

Ahhh!!! Beautiful! Dominant mistress she is! My oldest brother was in the US Navy. Guantanamo hid him, the Mediterranean camouflaged his existance. Oh, those salty breezes!!
