Form and substance and mystery…
silence the war-drums of chaos…swirl
and give shape to a chromatic revelation…

Clouds rumble rhythms of peace
and hum an ancient oath…
swollen with history’s blood-hot creations.

From opposite ends of time and space
a dream and a song quietly embrace…like
the sun’s murmuring lips upon the moon’s blue face.

I'm glad I read the whole three parts. I can't say, not being a very good poetry critic, that I understood all that you were portraying in the poem's three parts, but the beautiful images you created give me a clue.

You made me think of the Rainbow Coalition fostered by Jesse Jackson but forgotten and picked up by the gay movement. I am grateful for my experience with the other side of the world allowing a refugee from Vietnam who is very talented and politically totally in sync with me about everything into my home 30 years ago.

If we don't make an attempt to get to know those different from us, we will miss out on a very rich experience and live our lives in ignorance and poverty of thinking.
