From death comes life in the eternal cycle...

Poem Artwork

God...
Let me die in your cathedral,

A stand of evergreens attending my wake

Let me watch the sunset behind your Holy Mountain,

A bridal veil surround as my misty shroud

Let my bones dissolve into earth
As nourishment for my green mother

Let me rise up as blue bells,
Announcing my rebirth with a gentle ring...

A most beautiful petition of the heart's desires of many of us who would rather be scattered to the four winds to catch the new breeze of rebirth than be confined in the bowels of the earth! This has delightful thermals which make the spirits rise, Linda! TY Kate xx

Dear Linda,
I've just been added to your list of trackers (doesn't that sound rather ominous?). I don't have a lot of time to read and respond to poetry as I would like but you have captured my imagination. This poem is beautiful in its simplicity - completely original and unique. You are clearly so gifted. I can't wait to read more of your work.
