I arise today Through the strength of heaven: Light of sun, Radiance of moon, Splendor of fire, Speed of lightning, Swiftness of wind, Depth of sea, Stability of earth, Firmness of rock. --St. Patrick The Sacred Fire The aura which surrounds us the very air we breathe and every step we take is holy Even as we falter and stand again We are born of fire, it lives within the spark of will to hope to push through struggle and the courage to endure We reach for our kin, the stars They leave invisible trails whose dust we inhale and we are pulsed by the light infused with a serpentine glow This life force carrys us forward as we exist through the present and acknowlege the past that refined us making us pure in kilns of pain No heaven exists on earth except the beauty of her dominion and love that is the only constant in a state of flux These are joy in a sad, short life We remember where we began birthed from the stars Spend our lives longing to return while fullfilling our destiny on earth This sacred fire within us is indestructible as iron forged from a white-hot furnace A remnant of our creation (c) Linda Gayton 2006

The sacred fire burns within us all and we can't help but be touched by it's flame. but in this time for many nothing is sacred.
"No heaven exists on earth except the beauty of her dominion and love that is the only constant in a state of flux. These are joy in a sad short life" Excellent. For every step we take we should be thankful, But too many of us are not.For every joy we feel we should be hopeful But some of us cannot because we are lost in the storm, yet regardless we falter and live to stand again. What a wonderful write. Pierre.
