The Subtlety of Grace



Reeds bend softly in the wind
baring sturdy stems
rooted in water's stillness


        **********


Warm breeze penetrates forest
Slowly heats inner core
The earth reponds with new life


        **********


Faith proceeds a strong vision
Effort moves mountains
applied with a gentle hand


        **********


The ancient cedar stands strong
yet shelters bird nests
in its nurturing green heights


        **********


A good force gains momentum
It moves on straight paths
that are defined by clear goals
