We deny the emotion
that would set us free
hoarding our pain
detaching from love
or the possibility of love

Though I rest in assurance that I don't fit the pen I do understand millions who do. I hold faith that humans will always change to be sure of their constant existance. I live my life for yesterday, today and tomorrow and will adjust my family's survival by being prepared for any unforseen changes that may alter the life as we know it. If all else fails I believe in God and in a far greater place than this if ever called there. Great thought provoking pen.

When we quit seeking who we truly are, then yes we fall into a darkness that only we can bring ourselves out of.
The world is truly in chaos, on more than one level, and if and when it's all said and done, there are none that reach for the change, we are doomed forever. I doubt however that all will be willing to just stop searching for the power to inspire the masses.
Chilling but a much needed write Linda.

When I look in the mirror it just cracks (explains my continious run of bad luck lol). There is much food for thought here Linda, we must start to look beyond our own insignificance to see what it is we have lost. Now's the time to reclaim it.

I think the thing we deny is that we are all lost and we need to reach out to each other to find ourselves. Lest the mirror that reflects our lives goes dark forever. Truth at it's best. Pierre.
