These doors of our minds are pages from life and their meaning lingers after time passes captured in black and white in a frame that disappears leaving beauty unconfined
Dreams, tufts from cottonwoods seeded in sacred thought are caught on the screen What is invisible to the eye is captured by the soul, in between the lines of mesh and the weave of words
Lifted by winds they fly but leave a remnant, those tiny fibers in the wire See how they move with every breath we take as we stand and gaze at all that is creation
These doors, thought closed, are wide open now The poet speaks where once she was mute tendered from the seed she breathed through the wire, life lifted from the page
I was going to paste a "favorite" line or phrase, but there were so many I quickly gave up on that foolish idea. These are the kind of poems that speak to us of our existence and leave us with the impression that what we do here is recorded for prosperity. These are good feeling poems and there really isn't quite enough of them in this old world. I include myself in omitting these sort of poems in my repertoire. Very good.
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
My book of poetry is being redone by me, I have a beautiful cover designed and the book will have a few more than 200 poems in it. I am going to have it printed on demand here in Canada. When it is done I will let you know when it is done and if anyo
