A strange world, a green world
A place of innocence
The sweet new world of Celadon
Where players move
Upon a stage
And walk in other shoes.
A lonely world, a pure world
A place of waterfalls
A dun mare fears a wolf - it's but a shadow
Where players move
Upon a stage
And watch through alien eyes.
A strange world, a waiting world
A place of possibility
A princess would destroy a lad
Where players move
Upon a stage
In unfamiliar skins.
A green world, a sleeping world
A place of scree and leaves
A weaver plaits the future
While players move
Upon a stage
To half-remembered cues.
A dear world, a ruined world
A place of stones and thyme
A death, regret and madness
While players move
Upon a stage
Towards the final curtain.
A silent world, a sorry world
A place of torn design
A love defying endless pain
Where players move
Beyond the stage
Through an imagined door...
