"Do paws," we tell her.
Up she goes,
Clasps fat paws and claps them
Laughs
And angles her jaws
"Do paws".
"Do paws," we tell her.
Eyes agleam she
Beats her paws together.
Leaps
Around the floor
"Do paws".
"Do paws!"
But is her paw applause
Selfcongratulatory?
Or does she just want cheese?
How can we tell - but when we say-
"Do paws" -
our gel is pleased.
