More than a carpenter,
more tha a man. He walked
water, traveled on land.
Fullfilling a prophesy,
making his mark. The light
of the world that long had
been dark.
Hated by many, loved by few,
he died for the lost, gentile
and Jew. Sent by his farther,
to pay for all sins, asking
forgiveness for the
transgressions of men.
He did no wrong, but suffered
much pain, loosing his life for
all man kinds gain. Crucified on
the cross, pierced by a spear.,
Jesus died for love, died without
fear.
He sits at the right hand of
Gods golden throne, welcoming
our souls to his heavenly home.
He gives us patience, strength
wisdom and truth. Takes an old
man, gives him youth.
I was born in his image from
beginning to end, to travel
life's roads, hills and bends.
I try to live as he wants me too,
because, Jesus was more than a
carpenter, he's my eternal savior
and friend.

Oh how beautiful this is...I often think of how freely he gave everything for sinners to be saved, salvation that is free, already paid for by his blood and it is such a shame that so many people choose to live their lives without Him...It's a sad situation when people will stand in line, even camp out in stores to buy games or tickets to concerts...things that they have to pay for, and will not come freely to recieve the greatest gift of all...no line to wait in, don't have to worry about it becoming outdated, or having to exchange it because it don't fit or work...it's the perfect gift, and as your last line read...he is a gift that is eternal. Beautifully written.

The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
