The Fuse of Rio Bravo

Twisting it together
in a coil of fuse,

her feelings she
cannot refuse.

Sunday morning
at the whitewash
church bell tower,

The Fuse of Rio Bravo
mounts her steed,
in confusion,
mirage of illusion,
a woman's woman in
need.

She knows the Bible
will pave her way to
Heaven,

but she knows the
'gold'  will buy her
sexual freedom.

The Spanish priest
pulls the bell tower
rope to announce
services.

Prayer to begin,
she is torn,
she wants to tie
her steed to the
hitching post and
attend.

Prayer to begin,
she is torn,
she wants to ride
to the 'gold'  mine
to stake claim to
the woman she
loves.

Are you in danger
of losing your
composure,
she'll bed your
naked exposure.

The Spanish priest
pulls the bell tower
rope to announce
services.

The Fuse of Rio Bravo
twists it together in a
coil of fuse,

walks proudly with the
woman she loves,
escorted inside by the
Spanish priest.

Once you light the
match, things will
never be the same!
