sulfur always on the
strike, destiny is my
signature flame, SS,

oh I was born 6-quill
in my palm,

behind a quill, I'll
make my blazing
psalm,

Firebrand lights the
match, that's why they
call me Firebrand,
Bad Company,

Bad Company
and I won't part
Firebrand,
Bad Company,

Outlaw soul,
carnal heathen
I am called,
chose a purple
quill, that's why
they call me
Firebrand,
Bad Company,

walked through
Peyton Place in
my black duster,
burned down the
rumor mill, my
Delilah eyes
shadowed by my
black Charlie1Horse
20X beaver brim,
den is anything but dim,

I hear ones say
Firebrand,
Bad Company,

Bad Company
and I won't part
Firebrand,
Bad Company,

yea, I'm Firebrand,
Bad Company,
quill in warm blood,
melting runes,
Bad Company tunes,
erotic sulfur-tinged air
strikes emotions hot and
bare, one step ahead
careful not to walk
into the lair,

Firebrand lights the
match, that's why
they call me
Firebrand,
Bad Company,

she sees who's
coming, starts
humming
Bad Company,
puts a fresh nub
on her quill, taps
the fourth-quarter
royalty till,

swigs from her
wide-mouth
Mason, spits
180-proof
whiskey in a
rooster tail, fires
it up to 250,000 hits,
in bed with sulfur and
capsicum in my lap, no
rest, no nap, I'll get all
the sleep I need when
I'm dead,
Firebrand,
Bad Company
till the day I die,
till the day I die,
Blessed Be,

that's why they
call me
Firebrand,
Bad Company, Bad
Company...

And that, dear Sage, is why you're a Firebrand with a capital "Fire".

The blend of western lore with strong metaphysical leanings and a womanist slant makes BAD COMPANY: THE FIREBRAND LIGHTS THE MATCH nothing less than remarkable. It shines both as exceptional creative work and as an extremely enjoyable reading experience.

You keep that 6-quill inked up Sage, ride into town and take down that goatskin velor with your unique Firebrand Talent. If you ever think about starting a band of artistic outlaws count me in ;) Top tune by the way one of my Fav's.

May the spirit of Yule
Bless your hearth
Blessed Be
Paul;-)

Hot write indeed Sage, I could hear the scratch of the quill on parchment and sense the danger of your chosen persona in the quiet shadows of the dark lit room as that old wooden matched flaired up to greet your Clint Eastwood thin cigar. Unigue and no holds barred write.

Seasons greetings.
