chaps branded with Sweet Brier, another name fitted around her Rose Hips, healing wounds of the Range, wearing the embossed leatherwork for protection, the design a product of a steady hand, she dismounts her horse and recites poetry from pre-Christian times, the wood of brier for the pyre to cremate the dead cow, coyotes prey - the Christian monks pray, Rosemary popular in their monastic gardens, burnt in the sickroom as aromatic disinfectant, decorating monastery halls at Yuletide, Sweet Brier and Rosemary purifying sacred groves, flocks, and stable, Shepherd's Purse, she used to induce abortion, her Pagan Goddess-given right, containing Vitamin K to prevent clotting, blood-staunching effectiveness inconsistent with Christian beliefs, the Horseradish grinder at the altar taken at the Jewish Passover feast, Lady's Mantle resembles scalloped edges of the Virgin Mary's mantle, protects all of Christendom, her name is Firebrand, she has a story set to rhyme, and she's been around for centuries of time, she's never matchless and she doesn't get restless, she's Bad to the Bone, chaps branded with Sweet Brier, another name fitted around her Rose Hips, healing wounds of the Range. love the write and especially the final verse-so much can be told through the history of women-the sacrifices, the tears, the struggle and then the fierce strength
