Poem Artwork

soft rap on the door
hourglass begins a timed ritual
old baked sand pays homage to gaia's
oldest profession

coupling silenced
inner voice hears cosmic
whispers flagellate warped time
as if the dire need prostitutes pleiades
chosen whipping girl

three-dimensional screams
in cosmic octaves led by the
lesbian maestro with a gift of
stellar enlightenment—altissimo
do pictures of theory in realistic
simulation look like pictures of here and now?

yes newly released image in the raw
this may be our deepest view of the
optical universe your run-of-the-mill
galaxy I think not

the last of the sand
funnels through time is up
pay the lady and leave through
the smaller milky way passing through
andromeda the drama has flagellated a
new dream into existence analogous to the
copernicun revolution
