We have rescued Jim Croce & his heirs & associates. I Got a Name, Sage Sweetwater. September 23, 1973, Croce was 30 years old. Others on board were pilot Robert N. Elliott, Croce's bandmate Maury Muehleisen, comedian George Stevens, manager and booking agent Kenneth D. Cortese, and road manager Dennis Rast. We are now the proud owner of the Beechcraft E18S. Sweetwater has spent the better part of a decade to validate her inquiry & opine on Jim Croce's living status. Sweetwater wrote a poem, Whip Her Will, or Whippoorwill over a decade ago, and also an earmarked paragraph & title chronicling spousal abuse. Sweetwater also cued Croce's song I Got a Name in a film script.
