This is a poem about our three precious cats, Sammy, Sara, and Tigger too. This poem was written on November 15th, 2007. Since that time our cat Tigger had passed away. We miss our Tigger but his spirit remains with us.

A Cat - ONE OF GOD'S PRECIOUS PRESENTS
With his green eyes wide open, "Sammy our boy" is ready to play.
Sammy is cool, all dressed up in his tuxedo.
Looking sharp like top cat! He makes the best of every day.
All gift wrapped and snuggled in a basket is our cat, "Tigger Da Boy."
He is fashionably dressed in his bushy fur coat.
He fills our hearts with joy!
There is Sara, the shy one, nestled under the tree.
She hides under the bed and under the rug.
Sometimes her long tail is all that we can see.
Sara, our female feline, cannot be reached for comment, but she will come out for sushi!
Our cats are precious gifts from God above.
They give us unconditional love with a passion.
These precious gifts can never be replaced.
Not for a million dollars or even a mansion.

Hi Domino and Liz,
I picked this to read first, since I love my cats, too. They are named Samson and Laurel. We got them when they were kittens. We thought they were both females, but found out later that they were males. So Samantha became Samson and Laurel became Laurel Bug. Laurel, a long-hair cat, already knew his name before we found out that he was a male and we couldn't change his name. I enjoyed reading your poem about your cats, Sammy, Sara and Tigger, too. Yes, they are precious gifts and like you, we keep them until they pass away.
So sorry about Tiger, but she is remembered by this poem and is a good place too. Us cat lovers must stick together and give honor to the cats. I have a gray one named Seashore who makes herself at home very much so and is adorable and much company for me after death of hubby 8/17/08.
Hello John,
Such a delightful poem! I can relate to your "relationship" with the feline friends because I too have some, my gifts from God, the white cat passed away last year named "Casper" and we still miss her, our male cat-of-the-house "Pogs" died this year from old age. Yes this poem says what pets can do to bring joy to our life. Thanks!
