This is Part II of my first poem about the same subject, written in 2013.

We are all Architects of our own future With every thought we make we have the ability to create! We can create something bold and new! We can make something unlike anything this world has ever seen! It does not have to be too complicated.. So let me explain what I mean.. We can create a better coffee cup that has a better handle or one that will not break. We can create a better coffee spoon that tells the time so we won't be late! How about a better toaster that is self cleaning and will never burn bread again! Invent a microwave egg cooker that will make an egg any way you want. Just like that! Amen! Yes, even today with advanced technology things can be a little bit better. Did I hear that someone has invented exactly how to control the weather? Well, what's new in the future? What's next? The Jetsons seemed to have the answers! LOL 9/5/24 John Michael D.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT, INDEED. GOING OVER YOUR LIST OF POSSIBILITIES I ENCOUNTERED SOMETHING THAT COULD LEAD US INTO DANGEROUS TERRITORY. CONTROLLING THE WEATHER? I THINK THAT'S WAY OUT OF OUR LEAGUE...THERE IS ONLY 'ONE' THAT CAN DO THAT AND YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS. BUT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE MASSES BEGIN TO THINK 'WE' ARE ARCHITECTS OF OUR FUTURE, AND BEGIN TO 'DABBLE' INTO REALMS THAT THEY SHOULDN'T...FORGETTING THAT ALMIGHTY GOD SEES 'EACH' FUTURE AND EACH END...EVEN BEFORE 'EACH' BEGINNING. HE ALONE THEN...IS THE ARCHITECTURE OF ALL OUR FUTURES. THERE IS ONLY ONE THING THAT JESUS IS CONCERNED ABOUT: THAT WE OVERCOME DAMNATION AND MAKE IT FROM EARTH TO HEAVEN, AMEN.
