The Ultimate Ocean Walk

I dedicate this poem to Lois Christiansen. She is a fellow member on Authors Den. Her inspirational poem "Oceanside Walking" inspired me to write this poem. Thank You Lois!

I love the ocean; I could listen to the waves all day.


It's the perfect setting to focus, to meditate, and to pray.


It does not matter which ocean, pick anywhere you like.


But it does matter who your walking with,

so picture yourself...

walking with a true friend, 

walking with a trusted mentor,

walking with the ultimate Father,

walking in His heavenly footsteps,

walking in the sand He created,

walking with Our Loving Savior,

Walking with God Who Loves You,

Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Amen

John, I am far from the ocean, but still I can picture any of these wonderful scenes. I love to walk in the woods with my Father, with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit..........quiet woods, powerful ocean, His hand is everywhere and His wonders undeniable.

I walk the ocean edge both with Rufuz, my dog, and with mom ocean there to speak to...this was a fitting tribute to Lois as she sorely LOVES the shore...Ed & Rufuz [w00f]
