Thank you for your comments. We can agree to disagree. There is some talk that if a Mosque Center is built that paintings and photos of the Terrorist may be displayed and honored in this building.

Many questions also need to be answered like: Where did Imam Feisel get $4.85 million in cash to buy this property? Where will the $150 investments come from? It is a significant fact that a good percentage of the hundreds of mosques being built or already built in the USA during the past two decades have had support from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Iran, all with radical Islamic activists. In addition to these sites being places of worship, they also act as a center for the distribution of propaganda literature, written in Arabic and Urdu and proven to be radical in content. You do not have to go too far to already see this. In Brooklyn, Queens, and Detroit the mosques are growing. Recently, the government discontinued work on a major Iranian-funded mosque and center in NYC that had been quietly operating under the auspices of Pahlavi Foundation.

New definitions are cropping up:
A Cultural Center = Mosque
Outreach = excluding non-Muslims
Religion of Peace = subjugating women
Sharia Law = government control, no liberty, no freedom

It is no secret that the building of this Center will be a joyful victory for the Terroist and their followers. Many are already planning a victory celebration if this center is built.

Therefore if we really want a symbol of peace then they will agree that a All-faiths Center (which includes a mosque) would be a viable solution.

I CANNOT AGREE WITH YOU JOHN BECAUSE WE ARE A COUNTRY THAT LETS 'FREEDOM RING'. IF WE BEGIN TO DISALLOW CERTAIN FAITHS FROM BUILDING THEIR PLACE OF WORSHIPS WHERE THEY WANT IN THIS COUNTRY THEN OUR LAWS WHICH MANDATE FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF THE PRESS, FREEDOM OF 'RELIGION', ETC ARE NO LONGER EFFECTIVE AND SOON THE 'MELTING POT' BECOMES A 'DIVIDING POT'...AND WE ARE NO LONGER A LAND OF THE 'FREE' BUT A LAND WHERE 'DICTATORSHIP' WILL BEGIN TO SEEP INTO THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF OUR GOVERNMENT AND OUR PEOPLE. A LAW IS A LAW...NORTH, SOUTH, EAST AND WEST. GOD IS OUR KEEPER JOHN, WEHN WE, IN SPITE OF THE PAIN, OBSERVE THE LAWS OF OUR COUNTRY, WE SEND A CLEAR AND LOUD MESSAGE TO THE 'DESTRUCTIVE INSTRUMENTS OF EVIL' IN THIS WORLD...WE ARE SET APART, WE ARE NOT LIKE YOU, WE ARE DIFFERENT...WE ARE, NOW AND FOREVER, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WITH PRINIPALS AND VALUES THAT GOD HAS SET IN PLACE AND WHICH NO MAN...OR COWARDLY ACT OF TERRORISM...CAN EVER CHANGE! An inter-faith chaple is an idea which should be embraced by those who truly want peace in your land, and a garden of remembrance might just be the ticket as well; A place to ponder, pray and feed the birds at the same time sounds fitting to me. I like this style of wring by you, John Michael. I agree with just about everything you wrote. Except I still think the 9-11 murders were our government's induced. Like the JFK murder the truth is out there it should be investigated.
