In Mel's diner a waitress needed prayer for her son who was on hard drugs. She explained that he will rob anything in her house just to get a fix. She was so heartbroken that I prayed for her and her son on the spot. When I came home I wrote this prayer poem for her son, Brian. In our ministry we see many drug users quit the habit in one day through prayer and faith in Jesus Christ. With prayer it is possible for Brian and others like him to come home this Christmas a better person in Christ.
Break that old habit
Please think and listen
Break that old habit
Become a better person!
Break that old habit
This I do pray!
Break that old habit
Things will get better day by day!
Break that old habit
End the tears and sorrow
Break that old habit
Don't wait until tomorrow. . .
Break that old habit
With Christ anything is possible
He is the life and the way!
So BREAK that old habit - right now - today!
