My mother is a natural artist that can design and create art that's so very fine

So I wondered if I could follow her footsteps and see if I am artistically inclined

Then I took an art course in the local university and gave it the old college try

I was not a Picasso but my instructor thought that I had a pretty good eye

So I drew and sketched many things from a still life to a garden outdoors

I even drew a portrait of our professor, several students and so much more

It was truly amazing what you can do when you are put through a test

But lately I have been involved with other things so I gave art a rest

You never know what talents you have within, so pursue them in good measure

Go for the gold in life and if you get silver it’s still an experience to treasure!
