We probably all have a KID that's inside of us that still wants to go outside and have FUN. Where does it end? I used to run a 100 yard dash pretty darn fast but now I am told to "Walk don't run!"

There is a KID inside me that will not go away This KID still wants to go outside and PLAY! Even though sometimes my body says “NO” and “forget about THAT” The KID inside of me screams out “YES we got this down PAT” Sometimes I overdo gardening, bike riding or I kayak faster than ever I forget my lack of energy because this KID inside was not meant to last forever Still I like to dive the rough waves and bike off the pavement and ride in the dirt and hills But the KID inside of me saying “YES you can do it” and life is still filled with THRILLS Now I take extra vitamins, try to eat better than I did when I was a younger lad It seems to be working because I am still trucking along so it's not just a fad I don’t ever slow down because the KID inside me wants to always win This KID will get up tomorrow to bike, swim, hike! I think from the other comments, creative people like writers all operate with a kid inside. And, although there should be and may even be research on the subject, those that maintain that kid inside every day tend to be healthier and live longer. My 98-year-old uncle is working on a model of an aircraft carrier like I worked on in my early teens. He has always had a project like that going� some big, and some small. But he is still quite nimble, and has all of his faculties and it shows in his smile and the bright look in his eyes.

Being a kid a day probably keeps the pain away.

Our kids inside never leave us. Mine doesn't want to do exercise but wants to watch TV shows for young adults and eat cotton candy. It does push me to swim in the lap lanes alongside the young swimmers. We need our 'kid' to keep us sane.
