Traveling to another place can be fun and exciting. But sometimes you don't have to go too far, just take a ride in your car.

Poem Artwork

Let’s escape and dive into a pool

It’s really been hot, so let’s get cool

Listen to some Caribbean music that takes you away

Listen to the beat, as you find your own way

Heed the rhythmic tones of the steel drums

Enjoy moments of relaxation, as it comes

Escape from work and enjoy some play

Make this the very best part of your day

Splash around just like a big fish

Live life like most can only wish

Submerge and take in the warmth of the sun

Set aside special moments to really have some fun

Listen to the echo from that Caribbean band

Take it all in, after all, this life can be grand

Don’t wait for tomorrow, just escape today

Make the most of this life before it all fades away

GREAT ADVICE...THAT ALL CAN BENEFIT FROM. MANY ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO WHEN VACATION SPOTS WILL OPEN UP AGAIN...PROBABLY LATE NEXT YEAR. BUT RIGHT NOW THE 2ND WAVE OF CORONA IS SHOWING ITSELF GRANDLY...AND WE CAN ONLY PRAY! THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

Ah, if only I had a pool in my backyard... I would set up steel drums and have cold drinks at the ready. Water is my happy place and your words illustrated that well. Love the rhyme of drums and comes.

It's just a ride in the car for those in the sunny climes like you. But up north, they probably have drained their pools of the frigid water and winterized them already. Taking an inexpensive cruise, often costing less than a hotel in the city per day with food provided, is probably the best way to get away during the dark climes that we get ourselves into.

Bon voyage!

As the goes, enjoy yourself while you're still in the pink. Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
