Biking Adventures - 23 Was Enough for me!

I love bike riding as every trip is a new adventure. I usually bike 30-60 minutes a day but some of my friends like to count miles.

Poem Artwork

I bike with Jim who LOVES TO COMPETE!

He is a GREAT athlete, very fit.

But he is biking with a friend who LOVES to EAT!

Yes, I can easily keep up with him,

although he is quite slim and trim.

But when we biked from one town to the next

I thought it was time for a rest

Then we got lost and off the trail

We put on a lot of miles

Soon I was feeling a little bit pale!

After some time, we found our way home

He checked and our mileage was twenty-three!

Then he wanted to head out once again

But I expressed in a very cheerful way

that we can go more miles some other day

My body and my brain both agreed...

"Twenty-three was enough for me!"

Amen!

I haven't biked since a friend turned a corner, turned around to find me, and knocked me off my bicycle into traffic. Many stitches later, I gave up biking. I use a stationary bike with no friends around.

MARVELOUS! I HOPE JIM REALIZES THAT HE HAD A 'VERY WISE' COMPANION BIKING WITH HIM. THERE WAS NO NEED FOR YOU TO STROKE YOUR EGO...'COMMON SENSE' WAS IN CONTROL. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
