Splashing Good Times!

I have always loved water sports. Swimming and kayaking are my favorites but lately, the weather can get in the way.

I love the water

Love to get wet

I can go kayaking

everyday and not fret

 

I'll go out with family

or go out with friends

But my love for water

never seems to end 

 

I'll splash in the pool

I'll swim in the sea

If there is a body of water

That's where I'll BE!

 

But lately, it's been cold as ice

I stay away from the water

For the weather is not very nice

 

But soon it will be warm as toast

and I'll be splashing once more

in the water that I love the most

In a pool or a beach on the coast 

Amen!

Time on the water in a personal craft like a kayak can be very peaceful and relaxing, or in the case of running rapids, exciting. But always enjoyable.

I love sitting at the beach during summer or when we go on holiday. I sit under my umbrella though as I already have a natural tan haha. Water is so beautiful and I admire water sports. It’s a shame that I ain’t a great swimmer! Lovely poem John.
