Candy corn, candy Corn, take a little bite,

Does the Orange one taste different from the white?

 Chocolate mints, chocolate nuts, little chocolate bars

Eat the chocolate first, so it does not melt in the car

 Star burst, cherry burst, create tasteful Explosions of all kinds.

Straws with powdered sugar dust, guaranteed to blow your mind.

Home-made cakes and brownies used to be the best treats by a mile!

Now if they are not in a sealed package, they get tossed in the rotary file.

Peanut butter cups were once a big time favorite of mine.

Butter-nut candy bars - still rate high - they stood the test of time!

 Bubble gum - another favorite, some came with a cartoon too

Now it’s sugar free bubble gum - fuity flavors, for me and you

We’re grown-up now but still enjoy these treats this time of year

So eat balanced, just mix up the candy with an apple or a pear.
