My Facebook Friends

If someone had told me how much I would care
About all these people in lands far away
I think of that saying of how friends are so rare
Like the fingers of one hand to count any day.

Now I live for a like or a joke from afar
Wishing me well with sincere good will.
Warmth fills my heart like light from a star
My face book friends who lovingly  fill.

My days with warmth and wisdom
That I have come to enjoy
A common love of peace and freedom
Shared hearts full of joy.

Thank you my friends from facebook afar
For the warmth that you share with this old man
I pray blessing to all and love from that star
From all the goodness you've shown you’ve made me a fan.
