This poem represents the healing happening in my life

Sometimes I start slow and pick up the pace, Other times I just run full force in this race. I know this path well I no longer need to see, As the sweat pours from my face my eyes begin to sting. I run into the sin as to not feel the shame. My Father runs beside me and wipes my eyes with His Grace, He catches my fall as I drop to my knees, I look around me and begin to feel the Spirit that cleans. The shameful things I one knew begins to heal, And from my Fathers arms I once again see. My guilt drives me crazy as I can't get my way, cuz I need to do the right thing come what may. My life has never seen the consequence of good, as I learn this new feeling as I should. God Grace is abundant as I walk this new path, and learn what a solid foundation feels like at last. He allows me to walk healthy and free just as He planned, so shall it be. I am worthy of this, because He made it so, Giving His son so I could run free.
