This was written in '98 for Adrienne my oldest grand daughter who is now the mother of 'lil Reagan--All my grand daughters are called Lil Flowers and each is named for a flower. She has finished school with a degree in Art and Photochromy

You are indeed my Sunflower
Your face turned to the sun

I watched you grow so very strong
in the sun and water
the essence of life

You are your mother's child indeed
for she had a zest for life

As you continue on your journey
Remember sun and water makes things grow
