This was in a dream Aug l, 06 and I had two people in mind; me and someone else. This poem came out of that dream

THE ROSE AND THE ROCK Some people are roses Some people are rocks I think of myself as a rose Why? Simply because of St Therese of The Little Flower And The Blessed Virgin Mary whose order (Carmel) I belong to I attempt to model myself in their image and it is not an easy thing to do The rock is the symbol of strength and steadfastness never changing and will be forever Jesus is my rock

There is NO other rock byt that of the Savior...no substutites are worthy and the flower...the Rose is the beauty He gives to the heart and yours...your spirit is a Rose.
