PAREDES NEGRAS

Spanish, to write feelings, have the raw quality to put a sincere sound in all the words, more life, the anger more sanguine, more genuine.
An insult in spanish pains more than in any other language, a words of love sounds enwrapped in velvet.
To those that can read spanish, here is my anger.

Mi alma está entre
las paredes negras
de una casa vacía,
que solo tiene olores
de recuerdos mustios
en flores marchitas,
y de sangre vieja
desde tantas heridas.

Hasta hoy estuve creyendo
en el amor que Diós prometía,
y el perdón de todos los pecados,
y la bondad infinita,
y su mano apoyándose en la frente
que siempre protegía,
la misma mano que hoy golpea
en mil pedazos el resto de mi vida.

Como un gato, jugando con ratones,
que omnipotente puede acabar sus vidas,
Diós no se puede sorprender
que un padre, después de estar
penosamente de rodillas
con tantos ruegos ignorados...
sea el último que está abandonando
una iglesia que encontró vacía.

Lo que sienten las paredes (para Georg Mateos, con todo mi afecto)

Sé lo que sienten las paredes
cuando se vuelven negras sus piedras.
Y lo sé porque ya fui piedra blanca
lavada por la lluvia y por el viento, puros,
lo sé porque me encendieron albas
y ocasos rubros, y me platearon lunas
y estrellas. Lo sé porque me tocaron
pétalos de incontables primaveras,
e porque incontables hojas desplomaron
otoños enteros sobre mí, al borde del camino.
Lo sé porque fui suelo de pasos y eco
de parajes, lo sé porque fui marco
de llegada y despedida. Lo sé porque
me volví traslado y luego obra, acaso
de un sueño en fervoroso ascenso;
porque me abrí en amplias ventanas y -
a la vez - cerraron puertas en mi amplitud.
Lo sé porque de un color, y otro, y otro
aún, me fui matizando – según
la luz o la sombra reflejando días,
noches, sollozos, sonrisas, mimos,
golpes, miedos, esperas, odios
y amores, e miel… o sangre, sobre mí.
Lo sé, en cada una de mis piedras
- talladas, esculpidas, cinceladas...
mutación, en fragmentos reordenados,
de la entereza blanca, natural, que antes fui.
Lo sé, porque, al volverme abrigo,
me erigí, quizás, también barrera; porque
ni uno ni la otra soy inexpugnable, indestructible.
Lo sé… porque me quema el tiempo y me oscurecen
humos y abandonos. Si no lo soy aún, lo sé…
seré ruina – no sé si de santuario, que alguna
evocación erija, si apenas fin, en negras piedras.
Y siento… sí, siento, en cada piedra
de mi, todo lo que sientes… todo lo que sé.
