Please don't call me a dreamer,
because a dream is all I got.
Whit a burden that nobody wants,
we found in the end that we were lost
after a life of endless wandering, like
a ship without a shelter, inside a storm.
Sailor's rucksak full of "what if..."
and souvenirs with sorrows bought;
I WILL SMILE TOMORROW were the words
tattooed forever on his soul.
Dreams adverted yesterday realities
as it scrambled time inside the clock,
undisturbed wandering of tender feelings
that let our fantasies to come and go.
A dreamer perhaps you will compare
with a pathetic beggar on a sidewalk,
eyes looking at you without illusions,
he's just waiting for a few coins.
A make believe tender touch on the face,
close the eyes, the windows of the soul,
smile, and pain will no enter in your life
by the bad memories its open doors.
Sleep and go to that always welcoming
fantasy, live in the safe great beyond,
where rabbits talks to lions without fear,
like they did in Alice's wonder world.
Today's dreams will be paid with reality,
a currency of nightmares that they want not,
it forces to give as a change the round
yellow happy-face decal, of an emoticon.
If you wish to call me a dreamer
remember...a dream is all I got.

Sometimes a dream is all one needs George.
From the beginning this one touched me.
"Whit a burden that nobody wants,
we found in the end that we were lost
after a life of endless wandering, like
a ship without a shelter, inside a storm.

A Dreamer I will never call you then, my friend. I will, however, call you an excellent and talented poet with dreams. This is well-written and a joy to read.
Love,
CJ
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.

This bears the energy of a sage at the gates of life... Ontologically discussed with a voice of wisdom.
I did enjoy the scent of this flower, "Please don't call me a dreamer...".
