We want dreams, not nightmares...

Poem Artwork

PANDORA opened her box to let me see,
a world of which, I was part of its turmoil,
where Orestes was chased by the FURIES,
ERYNYES, Goddesses of Revenge for;
truth was left lying somewhere deep,
inside the tracks made by the CYCLOPS
disturbing with their roaming in the woods
SATYRS chasing NYMPHES for their love.

I didn't like the gargoyles and nightmares,
or the fire spitting dragons writhing in the box,
and looking directly in the eyes of HYPNOS,
The God of Sleep, I wanted him to put my soul
in the arms of MORPHEUS, God of Dreams,
submerging myself into the CHAOS bowl,
where the primeval state of existence are,
and nothing exist but dreams and gods.

As I slept, NIX, Goddess of Night watched
for APATE, Goddess of Deceit not to go
inside the romm to change the warm whispers
on my ears, with fingers of something cold,
helping Deceit will be wind BOREAS,
the God of all the Winds coming from the north;
chasing both would MORPHEUS used dreams
as PANDORA mercifully, will close her box.
