I had a dream from which I didn't wished to wake up, and, if I was forced to, the tip of my fingers could touch that smile, the one that in the dream she had for me.

Poem Artwork

Outside my window the wind howls
like a lonely wolf do to moonlights;
cold, as I fell asleep a dream came
to carry my soul to places last night,
and I dreamed of you as I never did
I was kissing the fingers of your hand
and when I looked up into your face
I saw little tiny tears on your eyes
and that you were sad, my little angel,
but it could not have been a dream I had,
as I felt the warmth of slender fingers
on my lips, that never had told me a lie.

I didn’t want to awake again, and then
what you are feeling at last I understand,
you too have a painful howling wind
stirring a storm in your heart, deep inside,
like me you don’t dare to reach across
and don’t find me there at your side;
just thinking that it was a wishing dream
of my lips finding your fingers that nigh
and every night after then, not dreaming,
just holding very tight and closed my eyes
so your image will stay there, across where
I could reach with my fingers…your smile.

A beautifully tender little poem...Sometimes a gentle touch of lips on fingers says more than words could say.

Georg in my opinion there is nothing more sensual and tender than fingertip kisses, they leave a lady breathless, as does this gorgeous love poem.

Georg,

My fingers touch your soft lips,
tenderly caressing each curve,
knowing how those lips taste
upon my awaiting kiss.

Once I came to you in a dream,
that held magical energy,
stirring your weary heart
toward joy and tenderness.

I touch your lips
with magnetic fingertips,
knowing my energy flows
through to your soul.

One day, when the moon is full,
you will again feel these fingertips,
upon your awaiting lips,
that stir your heart with rainbow love.

My, My, Georg, you inspired me to add to your beautiful poem.
Much peace, love, and light,
Amber "V"
